Best-known for the 1990 single "Wiggle It," for a brief time 2 in a Room was one of the most popular hybrids of hip-hop and dance music. The group was the brainchild of rapper/singer/songwriter/producer Rafael "Dose" Vargas; singles such as "Do What You Want" and the full-length debut Wiggle It earned Vargas widespread airplay and some critical acclaim.
