The Most Popular '90s Sitcom In Every State

Plenty of people look back on the 1990s fondly. It was a decade filled with bleached hair, boy bands and Beanie Babies, where instead of going everywhere looking at their cell phones, people were walking in their Reebok Pumps and fanny packs staring at their Tamagatchis. But when they weren't out rollerblading or playing with their pogs, '90s folks were in front of their TVs. Whether they were watching Must See TV or TGIF, Americans spent a lot of hours glued in front of their televisions thanks to some amazing shows. So which 90s series ranks as the favorite in your state? USDish.com got nostalgic and got the answers.

By comparing Ranker.com's 20 most popular '90s sitcoms with Google Trends from 2004 to today, researchers got results and, not surprisingly, the national favorite is Friends. The series, which debuted in 1994, was the top choice for citizens of South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Wyoming, Texas, New Jersey, Colorado, Arizona, Vermont and Hawaii.

Also popular - The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which, while it wasn't a favorite in star Will Smith's home state of Pennsylvania, it was tops in nearby Maryland and DC, as well as in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

A handful of sitcoms had three states that loved them, with That '70s Show huge in Idaho, Montana and Wisconsin, where the series is set; Everybody Loves Raymond is Connecticut, Arkansas and Indiana's fave; The King of Queens reigned in New Hampshire, Missouri and Michigan; Frasier topped Washington, Oklahoma and Alaska's lists; Saved By The Bell was loved by Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama; and The Simpsons had California, Virginia and Oregon saying "Ay Caramba."

Seinfeld surprisingly was a favorite in just two states - Massachusetts and New York, with The Nanny and Sabrina, The Teenage Witch also loved by just two states, Louisiana and Florida, and New Mexico and Maine, respectively.

Then there are the nine shows that were the favorite in just one state. They are 3rd Rock from the Sun (Utah), Boy Meets World (Rhode Island), The Drew Carey Show (Ohio), Family Matters (Mississippi), Full House (Nevada), Home Improvement (North Dakota), Roseanne (West Virginia), Step by Step (Pennsylvania) and Will and Grace (Delaware).
