Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande may be engaged, but that didn't stop the Saturday Night Live star's tattoo artist from advising him against getting ink that represented his now fiancée.
Celebrity tattoo artist and co-owner of No Idols Tattoo Shop in Chinatown, New York City Jon Mesa recently told Page Six about his words of advice to the 24-year-old comedian, which came while he was covering up one of Davidson's tattoos dedicated to his ex, Cazzie David, back in May.
"I did a huge coverup [adding a forest of trees]," Mesa explained. "After we were done, I told Pete, ‘Hey, dude, let’s just stop with the girlfriend tats until after [Grande’s] your wife."
Davidson didn't listen, since he got the iconic Dangerous Woman bunny mask inked behind his ear and her initials on his thumb.
“Relationships come and go, and Pete is a really young man, but I think that went in one ear and out the other," Mesa added, noting he spoke with Davidson before the engagement.
“They are just riding that magical wave of bliss together,” Mesa continued. “It’s obvious that Pete is super in love with Ariana.”
Though fans are ecstatic that the two found love, others are a little sick of the constant PDA, including Seth Rogen.
