Charlie Puth may be a pop star, but that doesn't mean he doesn't feel awkward in large social situations. Case in point: the music video for his latest single, "Way I Am."
In the visuals, the 26-year-old crooner shows his true, socially awkward self as he sits on a couch while a house party swirls around him. "Maybe I might get a little anxious, maybe I might get a little shy," he sings while partygoers buzz past him, not even acknowledging his existence. But one special someone appreciates him for the way he is, as he locks eyes with a big-eyed brunette throughout the clip.
We see Puth shift from couch to floor to bathtub to roof during the video, but he's always alone as the party continues around him. As the chaos dies down, he and his love interest finally come face to face and exchange smiles.

"Way I Am" is the latest single off the recently released Voicenotes, which Puth celebrated with iHeartRadio back in May.
