The 1975 Release Emotional Acoustic Performance of '102': Watch

Tomorrow (November 30), The 1975 release their highly anticipated third studio album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. On the eve of its release, the band released an acoustic performance video of "102," a song that's been circulating the internet since 2013 and will be featured on the Japanese edition of the new album.

In the video, singer Matty Healy sits on a leather loveseat, equipped with an acoustic video, as he emotionally laments about a love that's not reciprocated.

"This song is about a girl [friend] that I had. She was beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I loved her but she didn’t feel the same way," the 29-year-old explained in an old interview with BBC Radio. "I don’t even think she knew I loved her. This song is about the times I had with her. As she and I became close friends, we had traditions. It was kinda like our thing, y'know? We’d somehow always coincidentally be out at exactly 1:02AM, so that was our thing. Now whenever I’m awake at 1:02AM, I think of her and I let her go."
