Chrissy Teigen continues her streak of being the most relatable celeb on the internet. While getting ready to film her new TV show Bring the Funny, a comedy competition series on NBC, the cookbook author took a moment to celebrate her good skin day by sharing a *flawless no-makeup selfie with her followers. "Having a good skin day. Thank you skin," Chrissy captioned the photo.
It's always refreshing to see celebs get a little more real on social media. Not only for us, but for Chrissy, as well. Despite being a former Sports Illustrated model, Chrissy has opened up about the unrealistic expectations created by Instagram affect her, too. “I know they’re Facetuning, Photoshopping—and even I’m getting down on myself!” she once told Women's Health. “Imagine the girl who’s out there scrolling and feeling like she isn’t good enough.”
Chrissy isn't one to shy away from clapping back at anybody who body-shames her, either. She recently shut down a troll for calling her "chubby" on Twitter. The troll caught Chrissy's attention when he replied to a photo of her multiple times, with one post saying "Teigen likes to attack people, so i’m attacking her weight, chubby needs to get to the gym." She replied "I hate to say this but...you are not a small person? also I don’t care about my weight sooooo this does not hurt."
Since welcoming her second child, Miles, she's been especially open about her changing appearance and fluctuating weight. Back in March, Chrissy candidly responded when a fan asked how she can eat like she does, saying she's “20 pounds heavier than I was before miles. He’s 10 months old, I never lost the last bit because I just love food too much. Just coming to terms with my new normal, when I had this certain number for so long!”
We love a body positivity queen like Chrissy!
