Miranda Lambert Shares Rare Photo With Husband Brendan McLoughlin

Miranda Lambert loves her NYPD police officer husband.

On Friday (June 28), the 35-year-old singer shared a rare and romantic photo of her and Brendan McLoughin posing in front of the New York City skyline during sunset. Miranda cutely captioned the shot, "💙NYPDA" — a play on the NYPD acronym and their cute sunset PDA.

The photo marks the second Instagram post Miranda has shared of Brendan since their secret marriage in February. As fans know, the couple quickly said "I do" after a whirlwind romance, which they successfully kept out the public eye.

The newlyweds made their red carpet debut at the 2019 ACM Awards in April. Since then, they've been photographed enjoying a few romantic strolls throughout New York City.

Earlier this month, the usually private Miranda opened up about her relationship with Brendan to Extra, telling the entertainment news outlet how they're managing their long-distance marriage (she's based in Nashville while he's based in NYC), blending their families (Brendan has a 7-month-old son from a previous relationship), and enjoying life as newlyweds.

"We have the best of both worlds," she said. "We spend time in New York, we get to see our adorable nugget, then we get to come back to the farm and have the quiet life. I’m enjoying the balance."

Brendan and Miranda's nuptials marks her second marriage. She was previously married to fellow country singer Blake Shelton. However, they split in 2015. Miranda later dated singers Anderson East and Evan Felker before meeting her now-husband.
