Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard and his wife, Hayley, are the proud parents of two-and-a-half year old Olivia and six-and-a-half month old Luca. As much as Tyler and Hayley love spending time with their little ones, every now and then they try to get away for date nights.
The key to a successful date night is having a good, reliable babysitter on hand. In a recent interview with his record label, Tyler shared which famous country artists he'd let come watch his kids.
"If it's anybody I know in country, I'll call Kelsea Ballerini probably to come babysit, if we're talking artists. Or RaeLynn. I'm friends with RaeLynn and I've seen her with Olivia, so I know she's already really good. But Kelsea, I think she'd be a good babysitter."
On the flip side, Tyler joked, "Somebody I wouldn't let babysit would probably be Luke Bryan."
When Tyler's not spending time with his family, he's hard at work with the other half of Florida Georgia Line, Brian Kelley. The duo has been working on their fifth studio album which is expected to arrive at some point this year.
The forthcoming record will follow up 2019's Can't Say I Ain't Country, released in February of 2019. "Simple" was the first single released from the album, followed by "Talk It Out Of You" and their latest, "Blessings."
This summer Florida Georgia Line will hit the road for Kenny Chesney's massive "Chillaxification Tour," which they call "a bucket list moment."
"We both grew up listening to Kenny as kids, and obviously he's a legend but still doing it at a great level, at a high level," Kelley says, adding, "And he's somebody that we've been learning from; we want to learn more from. He's been doing stadiums for like 15 or 20 years, which is crazy when you think about it."
The tour will kick off on April 18 in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium, with the first amphitheater show a few weeks later on May 7 in West Palm Beach, Florida. For a full list of tour dates go here. Tickets for the tour are available now.
