Pop Smoke has been laid to rest two weeks after his death.
On Thursday (March 5), fans gathered in the late rapper's hometown of Canarsie, Brooklyn to say their final goodbye to their hometown hero.
For the funeral procession, Pop's casket was carried in a glass, horse-drawn carriage through Brooklyn and followed by a series of luxury vehicles. According to TMZ, one of the expensive cars following the casket was the 20-year-old rapper's good friend and mentor 50 Cent's Lamborghini. However, the outlet noted that Fiddy wasn't behind the wheel.
As seen in video clips shared on social media, fans yelled out Pop's signature ad-lib “Woo” as the horse-drawn carriage passed by.
The rapper's family spoke of Pop's love for BK in a statement following his passing, writing, "Brooklyn was the backdrop for all that Bashar loved. It's where he was raised, nurtured and educated prior to the world being introduced to his immense talent as the artist Pop Smoke."
The late rapper, born Bashar Jackson, was shot and killed on February 19. According to TMZ, two men wearing masks and hoodies broke into the Brooklyn native's Hollywood Hills rental home around 4:30 a.m. and opened fire — fatally wounding Smoke — before fleeing the scene. The up-and-coming artist was pronounced dead upon arriving at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood.
Pop's murder remains under investigation as the Los Angeles Police Department is still trying to figure out whether he was the victim of a random robbery or if it was a targeted hit.
