Selena Gomez has a lot going on at the moment, having just released a new collaboration with Blackpink and launched her Rare Beauty line. But, the one thing she's NOT doing right now is looking for a boyfriend.
The star recently sat down with beauty YouTuber NikkiTutorials (real name Nikkie de Jager) to do a full face of makeup using her Rare Beauty products, talk all things makeup and more. While talking about Selena's makeup artist Hung Vanngo, Gomez said that, "He'll be doing my makeup for my wedding," then jokingly adding, "which is never gonna happen."
Nikki encouraged Selena that she can definitely find love, to which she replied that "It's hard in quarantine." Gomez added that "This is also not an invitation" for anyone to be asking her out.
Selena went on to explain, "It's just funny, because I release things that say I want a boyfriend and stuff ... and I'm like, 'No, I didn't really mean it, though. Guys are a lot of work." She added, "Every one of my exes thinks I'm crazy, so I don't care."
Elsewhere in the chat, Gomez revealed that if she could go back in time, she would definitely warn her teenage self navigating through the entertainment industry. She explained, "If I could go back to a certain time to just tell something to myself when I was a teenager, I would probably be like, 'Just, I'm sorry. You're about to go into a very, very self-centered industry, and it's gonna get crazier.' And I started, and it did. Just to, maybe, encourage myself a bit more to value myself more."
Selena launched her Rare Beauty brand earlier this month, and celebrated the milestone with a message on social media, and a cute picture of her and her dog with some balloons. She shared, "SO EXCITED though I wish we could celebrate in person. Thank you to my amazing team at @rarebeauty and our community! This is just the beginning!!!
