Traditional trick-or-treating is being discouraged this year by the Centers for Disease Control.
Luckily for the little ghouls and goblins in the Dallas area, there are still some socially-distant events to keep the Halloween fun alive.
Trick-or-Treating At The YMCA
Semones Family YMCA will host an outdoor trick-or-treating event on October 29th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Moorland Family YMCA at Oak Cliff will host a drive-thru trick-or-treating event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Waxahachie YMCA will host trick-or-treating from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 30th.
Sunny South Harvest Festival at the Park South YMCA
Sunny South Harvest Festival is a family-friendly event that will be on Saturday, October 31st from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be horse rides, trunk or treats, and a picture booth station. Social distancing is encouraged and masks are required.
Dallas Police Department's Drive-Thru Trick-Or-Treating
This trick-or-treating event will be from 10 a.m. to noon on October 31st at the Marcus Park Recreation Center. The department stated, "Come dressed up in your scariest costume and join us as we hand out treats and other free goodies. This is a drive-thru event so feel free to decorate your car!"
