The Weeknd's 'Nutty Professor' Halloween Costume Was Spot-On

The Weeknd knows how to do Halloween.

For this year's get-up, the pop star dressed up as Eddie Murphy's character, Sherman Klump, from the 1996 classic, The Nutty Professor. In a number of Instagram posts, which were shared on Saturday (October 31), Abel appeared in an overweight body suit with fake teeth, heavy make-up and the exact gray blazer, bow tie and suspenders that Murphy rocks in the comedy. In follow-up clips, the superstar was even seen impersonating some of the character's mannerisms with his cigar and dance moves.

It’s certainly not the first time that Abel has won Halloween. Back in 2018, he and then-girlfriend Bella Hadid dressed up as Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz. He followed that up with his impression of Jack Nicholson's Joker from 1989's Batman in 2019.

October was a busy month for Abel. Not only did his collaborations with Oneohtrix Point Never and Ariana Grande drop at the end of the month, but the star also shared some early Halloween spirit when he dropped the gory music video for "Too Late" on October 23. In the NSFW clip, the crooner's own decapitated head became the shining star of the five-minute video, which was directed by Cliqua.
