LeToya Luckett and Tommicus Walker are getting a divorce after three years of marriage.
On Monday (January 11), the former Destiny's Child singer announced her split on Instagram. “After very prayerful consideration, Tommicus and I have decided to get a divorce,” LeToya wrote alongside a photo of her and Tommicus with their two kids, Gianna and Tyson. “It is my deepest desire for us to be loving co-parents and keep a peaceful environment out of respect for our children.”
"Please understand our need for privacy," she added. "Thank you in advance for your prayers, support & space to heal as we tread through this challenging time."
Tommicus also shared a statement on Instagram, calling his and LeToya's decision to go their separate ways a “difficult” one. He promised that they "will remain committed" to their family as co-parents as well as "caring friends with great love and respect for one another.”
In his statement, Tommicus additionally blamed "outside forces" for creating confusion in their marriage. The statement may be related to rumors he had an affair with an Instagram model, who was shopping their alleged sex tape around last year.
Tommicus addressed the cheating rumors in his divorce announcement, writing, "I NEVER STEPPED OUT ON MY WIFE."

LaToya and Tommicus tied the knot in Austin, Texas in December 2017. The couple shares two children together: two-year-old, Gianna, and four-month-old, Tyson. Tommicus also has a nine-year-old daughter named Madison from a previous relationship.
