Blake Shelton Reacts To Hilarious Super Bowl Commercial With Gwen Stefani

Blake Shelton made an unexpected appearance during Super Bowl LV on Sunday (February 7), appearing in a T-Mobile commercial with his fiancée Gwen Stefani.

At the start of the clip, Stefani calls up her friend and previous The Voice coach, Adam Levine. "Hey Adam," she says into her phone. "I think I'm ready to start dating again."

Levine then responds by asking Stefani what she's looking for in a man to which she replies, "I'm sick of L.A. guys. I want someone completely different. Maybe someone from another country, and someone cultured, sensitive and who is not threatened by a strong, confident woman."

The phone signal was spotty causing Levine to hear, "I'm sick of L.A. guys, I want someone completely country. Uncultured and threatened by a strong confident woman."

"I have your guy," Levine assures Stefani, referring to Shelton. The ad then cuts to Stefani and Shelton's first date which features the country star showing up at a fancy restaurant with spurs on his feet.

"Are you wearing spurs? Did you ride a horse here?" Stefani asks in disbelief, to which Shelton replies, "Yeah! Want a ride home?"

The hilarious ad immediately blew up after it aired. On Monday (February 8), Shelton discussed the commercial's success with Entertainment Weekly.

"Of all the things that I've been fortunate enough to have happen in my life, I don't know that my phone has ever erupted — I mean my phone was smoking last night," Shelton said. "You realize, 'Oh my God, nobody has ever really watched me win an award.' I know that now. But everybody watches the Super Bowl. Now it's confirmed: I know every contact in my phone was watching that game."

He continued, "It was funny, we had a blast. When I read the script, I thought it was a great idea. I thought it was so funny. Because people still don't really understand why she's with me. And fair enough, right? So I loved being able to spin that out."
