Saweetie Sets Record Straight About Alleged Feud With Cardi B

Saweetie has put the Cardi B beef rumors to rest!

While appearing on "The Breakfast Club" on Monday (March 8), the "Best Friend" rapper was asked about her alleged beef with the "WAP" rapper, and she not only denied the rumors, but blamed the media for trying to create drama between them that never existed.

“I think the media just likes to take things out of context,” Saweetie said. “I’m loving how women artists are starting to realize that sometimes it’s the media that creates something that’s not there. And I think it just shows maturity and it shows growth amongst me and my peers to not be affected by what the media says.”

The California rapper not only shot down beef rumors, but she also revealed that she and Cardi have been chatting about a possible Saweetie-Cardi collab. “Our teams have definitely been talking," she revealed. "I think we’re kinda just waiting for that right record."

As fans know, beef rumors first sparked last month when Saweetie wasn't spotted hanging with Cardi, Quavo, and Offset at last month’s Super Bowl.

Additionally, some fans thought Cardi was throwing shade at Saweetie in her latest single "Up," which uses Saweetie's famous catchphrase, "I know that’s right."
