The home of the Chicago Cubs will host concerts again this year.
After taking a hiatus from live music because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Wrigley Field just announced its lineup of shows for 2021.
Some concerts that were scheduled for Wrigley Field in 2020 postponed, including Chris Stapleton, Guns N’ Roses, Lady Gaga and more.
Here’s what’s coming up in Chicago:
- Chris Stapleton on Saturday, July 17
- Guns N’ Roses on Wednesday, July 21
- The Hella Mega Tour, with Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer, on Sunday, August 15
- Lady Gaga on Friday, August 27
- Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe on Sunday, August 29
- Maroon 5 on Monday, August 30
Fans who bought tickets for the 2020 tours will be able to use those tickets at the respective 2021 shows instead. Officials sent more info to the ticket holders directly, NBC Chicago reported Tuesday (March 16).
It was not immediately clear what the capacity limit would be at the concerts because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Wrigley Field noted online that its continued to coordinate with MLB and has taken “extensive precautions to cover all the bases” when it comes to CDC and local guidelines.
