The clock is ticking, Friends fans!
The immersive Friends-themed pop-up that opened in Georgia earlier this summer will come to an end this month. The FRIENDS Experience opened in Sandy Springs at 1155 Mount Vernon Hwy NE, at Perimeter Pointe. Superfly teamed up with Warner Bros.
With a dozen set recreations (Chandler and Joey’s apartment, Central Perk, Monica’s kitchen and more), it’s the perfect dose of nostalgia for diehard fans of the beloved ‘90s series. But if fans haven’t visited yet, they’ll have to squeeze in a trip before September 26, according to The FRIENDS Experience. Organizers advise fans to “run like Phoebe” to get to The FRIENDS Experience before it closes. Find ticket info here.
Friends premiered in 1994, running for 10 seasons and remaining one of the most popular award-winning sitcoms today. It starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc, along with other lovable cast members.
Earlier this year, the group reconvened for a highly-anticipated Friends reunion that released on HBO Max. The special also featured fan-favorite guests and reflected on some of the most memorable moments of the show.
“It was unbelievable. It was so emotional. It's an unscripted reunion, but we got to be on Stage 24 for the first time, all of us in, like, I forgot how many years. 15 years? 17 years?” Cox said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in May.
Aniston recently appeared on onLiterally! with Rob Lowe, and explained why the unscripted reunion special “just resonated with all of us,” and that it was a bit “melancholy” to reunite with the rest of the Friends cast after so many years.
