After a successful weekend at Super Bowl LVI, Hip-Hop is taking center-stage once again during the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend thanks to DJ Khaled and his line-up of famous friends.

On Wednesday, February 16, the NBA announced that the Miami super-producer will headline the State Farm NBA All-Star Saturday Night concert, and he's bringing a star-studded squad with him. The show is expected to feature performances from Mary J. Blige, Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, Gunna, Ludacris and Migos.

The stellar performances are set to occur right before the AT&T Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday. While Khaled is expected to put on a grand show, his posse of talented rappers and singers aren't the only artists that will light All-Star Weekend. During halftime at the All-Star game on Sunday, the NBA will commemorate the league's 75th anniversary with appearances from Usher, Spike Lee, Tiffany Haddish and Anthony Anderson and a special performance from Earth, Wind & Fire, who will perform their hit "Shining Light." Macy Gray is also expected to sing the National Anthem before tip-off.

Khaled had been teasing the announcement for the past few days following the premiere of his Super Bowl commercial for Quick Books and MailChimp. Towards the end of his grand announcement post on Instagram, the We The Best founder also mentions that he's still in #AlbumMode. The last song Khaled was a part of was Sech's "Borracho," which dropped in November of last year. In 2022, Khaled has been spotted in his studio with the likes of Chance The Rapper and Kanye West. There's no confirmation on the details surrounding his follow-up to last year's Khaled Khaled, but it would be dope to get some kind of hint about the album during All-Star Weekend.
