New photos of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are sparking engagement rumors… The 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards icon award recipient was spotted wearing what appears to be a diamond ring on her left hand. TMZ shared the photos in a new report on Thursday afternoon (April 7), and the entertainment news hub made the notable observation that J Lo appeared to rotate her ring after noticing photographers present while she was out with her daughter. Affleck attended the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles to cheer on his girlfriend as she accepted her award and delivered an iconic performance last month. The Academy Award-winning actor stood in the audience gazing at Lopez as he applauded her.
He and Lopez first began dating in the early 2000s. They broke off their engagement in 2004, and rekindled their relationship again in 2021. Earlier this year, Lopez opened up about the split, explaining in an interview with Rolling Stone that although her relationship with Affleck was “one of the happiest times of my life,” they opted to part ways because “there was this other thing happening where we were being criticized, and it really destroyed our relationship from the inside out, because we were just too young to understand at that time what were really the most important things in life.”
But now, Lopez and Affleck appear to be going strong again. Even Lopez admitted on a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she doesn’t “think anybody was more surprised than us… it’s a beautiful thing.” Affleck even pulled off a sweet Valentine’s Day surprise for Lopez this year, and the Marry Me star gushed that it “seriously melted my heart.”
No word yet on whether the ring Lopez seemingly tried to hide from the camera is an engagement ring, though TMZ notes it would be the next big step for “Bennifer” after buying a 10-bedroom, 17-bathroom mansion together for $55 million.
