Busta Rhymes, Prince & More To Receive Stars On Hollywood Walk of Fame

Busta Rhymes and Prince are among the legendary artists who will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year.

On Monday, June 24, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Selection Committee announced 36 honorees for the Class of 2025. In the Recording category, Fantasia, Busta Rhymes, The Isley Brothers, Depeche Mode and others will receive a star on the iconic Walk of Fame. The late Prince is set to receive a posthumous star nine years after he passed away. Following the announcement, Busta issued a statement on Instagram.

The honor comes months after Busta Rhymes dropped his recent album Blockbusta. His latest LP includes songs like "Beach Ball" with BIA and "Luxury Life" with Coi Leray. Young Thug, Chris Brown, Shenseea, Quavo, DaBaby, T-Pain, Blxst, Yung Bleu, Kodak Black, Big Tigger, Burna Boy, Jnr Choi and Busta's kids, Trillian, Rai & Cie also contributed to the project. Fans will get to see him perform some of the songs live when he hits the road with Missy Elliott and Ciara this summer as part of Missy's first headlining tour.
