Anna Farris' brief interactions with Matthew Perry on the set of Friends, nearly two decades ago, have left a lasting impression on her life.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Farris made a guest appearance on the popular sitcom in 2004 after Perry, who passed away in October 2023 due to the acute effects of ketamine, suggested her for the role of Erica, "a woman giving birth to the twins Perry's Chandler and Courteney Cox's Monica would end up adopting."

"He told me that he'd seen me in Lost in Translation and he thought I was good." She continued, highlighting Perry and Cox's "incredible" character.

"I worked mostly with Courteney and Matthew, and they were unbelievable to me. They were so kind. I mean, it was such an intimidating idea. I mean, to give birth on FriendsFriends? The final season?"

Farris told People that she only briefly communicated with Perry on set, but each interaction spoke volumes.

"It was an honor and he was just an incredible person. I wish I knew him better. It feels a little audacious for me to speak too much about somebody that I felt like I had brief interactions with, but they were wonderful and I am honored to be a part of the show."

The House Bunny actress revealed that she only receives about "9 cents every... four months" from the guest appearance, but is very grateful for the experience.

The standout is currently promoting her latest project, My Spy The Eternal City, which was released on July 18, 2024.
