Fans of classic movie soundtracks are in for a nostalgic treat! Pseudo is set to release their highly anticipated music video for “Goblin,” a cinematic spectacle that brings back the unforgettable era of 2000s movie tie-in music videos. With Gothic Slayers embracing the spirit of the ‘90s and early 2000s, the creative team saw the perfect opportunity to revive the time when music and film seamlessly intertwined to create truly iconic moments.
The video, which serves as both a standalone visual experience and an extension of Gothic Slayers, blends exclusive movie footage with a high-energy performance by Pseudo and the movie’s stars. Directed by Caleb Harris, “Goblin” captures the film’s nostalgic yet fresh aesthetic, channeling the excitement of legendary tie-ins like Madonna’s “Beautiful Stranger” for Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Will Smith’s “Men in Black” theme song.
“With the movie itself carrying strong influences from the late ‘90s and early 2000s, we knew we had to honor that era by bringing back the music video tie-in,” says Harris. “This is a love letter to a time when a song and a film became inseparable, creating something bigger than either could be alone.”
Gothic Slayers, starring Ben Getz and Dylan Eshbaugh, is set to hit streaming on March 4th. The music video for “Goblin” is out now on Pseudo’s YouTube channel.
