Playboi Carti brought his new album to life for the first time during his headlining set on the final night of Rolling Loud California, and he called on a couple of his all-star friends to join him.
On Sunday night, March 16, the Opium founder hit the GoPuff stage to close out Rolling Loud's second night at Hollywood Park outside of SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. He began by performing songs like "Crush," "Evil Jordan," "Mojo Jojo" and "Good Credit" from his third studio album MUSIC. Midway through his performance, Playboi Carti stunned the crowd by bringing out The Weeknd to help perform "Rather Lie" and their previous collaboration "Timeless."
The surprise moment was a glimpse at what fans can expect from their upcoming tour. Abel Tesfaye is taking Playboi Carti and Mike Dean with him on his "After Hours Til Dawn Tour 2025." The arena tour will begin May 9 in Phoenix, Az and will travel to other major cities around the country until it wraps up U.S. leg on September 3 in San Antonio.
Abel wasn't the only surprise guest Carti had on stage with him. UK rapper Skepta also made an appearance to perform their brand-new collaboration "Toxic." The Atlanta rapper also had Kai Cenat on stage while he performed other fan favorites like "Trim," "Crank" and more. Of course, Carti couldn't leave without raging out with the crowd so he encouraged them to open up the mosh pits and performed hits like "Type Sh*t," "FE!N," plus more.
Playboi Carti delivered his highly-anticipated set following another day of wild performances. Carti's artists Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely warmed up the crowd at the GoPuff stage while some of Cali's finest including Dom Kennedy, Az Chike, Kamaiyah, and more entertained the masses. Soulja Boy was the surprise guest at the Zig Zag stage and had the crowd all the way turnt up with his classics "Turn My Swag On," "She Make It Clap" and more. Tee Grizzley, Luh Tyler, Stunna Girl, Skaiwater and Loe Shimmy also performed at the Zig Zag and D'USSE stages.
