Acre

Acre is a mysterious producer from Manchester, England who constructs scattered, obtuse tracks that fall somewhere between grime, dubstep, and experimental techno. While some of his tracks are more spacious and measured, others feature clattering beats, plunging bass tones, and abrasive, distorted synths. His tracks first began appearing on German label Saturate!Records in 2011, followed by appearances on King Deluxe and Lowriders Recordings in 2012.
