Flutist Alexis Kossenko has performed widely with Baroque music ensembles and is the founder of the group Les Ambassadeurs. He plays a wide range of historical flutes, plus the recorder, and he is also active as a conductor.
Kossenko was born in 1977 in Nice, France. He attended the Conservatoire de Paris, where he studied modern flute with Alain Marion and earned a first prize.
