Born José Ariel Camacho Barraza, Ariel Camacho was a singer from Angostura, Sinaloa who specialized in música norteña. He formed Ariel Camacho y los Plebes del Rancho with Omar Burgos and César Iván Sánchez, and the trio quickly attracted attention for both their musicality and the band's unusual combination of standard guitar, requinto, and tuba.
