A member of the hip-hop group Little Brother and a solo artist as well, Rapper Big Pooh launched his music career while attending North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina. There he met DJ/producer 9th Wonder along with rapper Phonte, both of whom joined up with Big Pooh to form the Little Brother trio in 1998.
