Mexican Latin pop Ciao Mama emerged in 1997. After issuing a self-titled debut album in 1999, the five-member outfit became a local teen pop favorite. Their first record was produced by José Ramon Flores, Loris Ceroni, and Carlos Lara, and featured the hit singles "S.O.S." and "Veneno y Miel."
