After gaining recognition as the vocalist for South Korean R&B duo Offonoff, singer/songwriter Colde struck out on his own. While his solo work continued the laid-back R&B style his group was known for, he brought more of a smooth hip-hop and rap flavor to some songs on his 2018 debut EP Wave. Colde was born Gim Hui-su in 1994. After his duo Offonoff set themselves apart from the general K-pop sound with their decidedly R&B approach, Colde began working on solo material in a similar style.
