Hailing from Blackpool, U.K., school friends Nathan Day (vocals, guitar) and Jack Bentham (drums) had been playing music together since their early days and after a chance meeting with bassist Dave Williams -- while working as cleaners at their college -- the trio formed Darlia. While Bentham headed to university, Day and Williams worked their way through drummers. However, once a record deal was on the horizon, the band drafted Bentham back in.
