Datach'i

Datach'i is the recording alias of Joseph Fraioli, a sound designer whose experimental electronic music has constantly evolved since the late 1990s. His early releases, such as 2000's Wearealwayswellthankyou, gleefully smashed drum'n'bass and experimental techno to bits, feeding cute, nostalgic melodies, offbeat samples, and mangled breakbeats through massive amounts of distortion. He then released darker, more sophisticated albums such as 2004's Mmale and Ffemale before devoting more time to his audio design company.
