David Van Day

This UK vocalist found success as a member of mid-70s singing group Guys And Dolls between 1974 and 1977. Along with co-member and girlfriend Thereze Bazar, he broke away from the band and formed the duo Dollar. Between 1978 and 1982 they notched up 11 chart entries. The break-up of their relationship also marked a temporary halt to their recording career as a duo, and both embarked on solo careers.
