One of technical death metal's most vital and enduring acts, Poland's Decapitated was founded in the late '90s by guitarist Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka and his younger brother, drummer Witold "Vitek" Kiełtyka. Debuting in 2000 with the seminal Winds of Creation, which was recorded while the bandmembers were still in their teens, subsequent albums Nihility (2002) and The Negation (2004) helped build Decapitated a robust international fan base.
