EDMX

EDMX is the second most productive alias of British electronic musician Edward Upton, best known as DMX Krew. Like his primary moniker, Upton's EDMX output is rooted in the electro innovations of the 1980s, but can venture anywhere from acid techno to abstract dub. The MPC Trax series, initiated in 2000 and released through Upton's own Breakin' Records, focuses on charged-up electro-bass tracks, while releases like 2012's Cerberus and 153 Mission explore hardcore techno and acid, and 2020's World Phaser is an exercise in sideways dancehall.
