Elizabeth Joy Roe

Elizabeth Joy Roe is an American pianist. She began taking piano lessons at six, and went on to study with Emilio del Rosario, Vladimir Leyetchkiss, and Theodore Edel. By the time she was 13, she won the grand prize at the IBLA International Piano Competition in Italy. In 2004, she earned her B.M. at the Juilliard School of Music, and in 2006, she received her M.M. in piano, as well as honors from the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, the National Association for Professional Asian Women, the Music for Youth Foundation, and the Samsung Foundation of Culture.
