Formed in 2002 by a group of pastors and students from the Vida Abundante de Hidalgo del Parral Pentecostal church in Chihuahua, En Espíritu y en Verdad is one of the better-known Christian rock bands in Mexico and Latin America. The group's repertoire typically alternates between its own compositions and Spanish versions of English-speaking Christian rock artists such as Delirious?, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Hillsong.
