Falconer

Founded by former members of Swedish Viking metal group Mithotyn, Falconer emerged in 1999 with a style that infuses traditional melodic power metal with elements of Nordic folk and medieval music. Issuing an eponymous debut album in 2001, the band has gone on to release a string of acclaimed releases like Northwind (2006) and Armod (2011) that blend elements of fantasy, Scandinavian history, and mythology with evocative instrumental prowess.
