London's FLO are known for a pop-oriented contemporary R&B sound that places them in a lineage of vocal groups such as fellow English acts Eternal and Sugababes, along with the likes of Destiny's Child and 3LW. Renée Downer, Stella Quaresma, and Jorja Douglas debuted under the name in 2022 with the blithe breakup song "Cardboard Box," and issued their debut EP, The Lead, later in the year.
