Genevieve Stokes

Pairing intimate lyrics with a rich voice and distressed delivery, Genevieve Stokes secured a major-label contract straight out of high school. Her debut EP, the piano-centered Swimming Lessons, saw release in 2021. A second EP, Catching Rabbits, appeared in 2023. A native of Maine based in Portland, Stokes started playing piano and wrote her first songs at age eight. Monthly open mikes with a friend started soon after.
