Geoff Whitehorn was born in 1951. He began playing guitar at the age of 11. His first real band formed in 1973 -- a group called If. He released a solo album, entitled Whitehorn, the next year. 1975 saw Whitehorn touring with Maggie Bell. He joined the group Back Street Crawler (later known just as Crawler) in 1976. He remained with that group until they broke up in 1979. His next move was to the Shortlist.
