Helen Reddy

A singer admired for her warm, crystalline vocal tone and smooth light-pop songs, Australia's Helen Reddy is best remembered for the chart-topping feminist anthem "I Am Woman" (1972). She reached the Top 40 over a dozen more times through the late '70s, including with the U.S. number ones "Delta Dawn" (1973) and "Angie Baby" (1974).
