Son of a Brazilian diplomatic and a Chilean mother, singer/songwriter Joe Vasconcellos lived in several countries around the world, absorbing elements from different cultures. While living in Italy, the artist studied music at Nicolo Paganni's Conservatory, playing percussion when interacting with local musicians.
