Kaia Fischer

Kaia Fischer is one of the driving forces behind alternative rockers Rainer Maria. After releasing several albums with that band throughout the late '90s and the beginning of the next century, Fischer struck out on her own with her first solo album, 2001's Open Ground. Although she had not left the band to make the album, it was the first project she had undertaken without the Rainer Maria tag on it. ~ Bradley Torreano
