Biography
San Francisco-based vocalist Karri specializes in woozy, dreamlike R&B ballads that are sometimes remixed to even headier effect with a technique he calls "Lo' N Slo'." The Filipino-American singer, songwriter, and producer made his commercial debut in 2021 with the trap-styled rap track "Rosetta," but he soon leaned into melodic contemporary R&B, and made a breakthrough with the spare and emotive 2023 single "3AM Oakland." Its 2024 sequel, "Oakland, Pt. 2," highlighted Late Nite Slider Music, his Geffen-distributed debut EP. ~ Andy Kellman
