Khaki Blazer

Khaki Blazer is the solo moniker of Ohio-based experimental musician Pat Modugno, who is also one-half of free jazz/noise duo Moth Cock. Like his work with that outfit, his solo recordings are disjointed, giddy, and chaotic, but his Khaki Blazer material is more geared toward abstractions of hip-hop and dance music (particularly juke/footwork). His recordings often feature mangled drum breaks and cartoonish sound effects twisted and stretched in ways that seldom make conventional sense, but are delightfully confusing nonetheless.
