Kiasmos

Icelandic electronic duo Kiasmos, consisting of composer/producer Ólafur Arnalds and Bloodgroup's Janus Rasmussen, craft steadily paced, melody-rich techno tracks incorporating elements of modern classical and ambient music. Titling nearly all of their songs after verbs in past tense, Kiasmos were first heard on a 2009 split EP with Rival Consoles. Full-length debut Kiasmos, a set of cinematic minimal techno cuts with orchestral flourishes, appeared in 2014, as the duo established the project as a successful touring act.
