Rap duo Kinfolk Thugs alternate from hedonistic to confrontational while representing the streets of Memphis in the wake of Hustle & Flow. GC Eternal and Tyme Bomb debuted as Kinfolk Thugs the year that film put a spotlight on their hometown, and released a handful of independent mixtapes -- such as multiple volumes of their We Don't Play That series -- before they recorded the 2008 single "Dumptruck" for Rap-A-Lot.
