La Diferenzia

The San Antonio, Texas-based Tejano group La Diferenzia comprised vocalist Ricardo Castillon, accordionist Simon Arausa, guitarist Adam Vargas, keyboardists Arnold Cardenas and Ross Villapando, bassist Mike Macias, and drummer Jose Luis Benavides. Formed during the mid-1980s by Castillon and his brother Ramiro, the group disbanded following the latter's tragic auto death, but after teaming with songwriter Miguel Spindola, the surviving Castillon opted to reunite the unit.
