Formed in 1992 as a power pop trio with heavy punk leanings, Less Than Jake steadily transformed into a ska-inspired punk band with a keen sense of humor and a fixation on Pez candy. They hit their commercial zenith in 2003 with their fifth studio effort, Anthem, which spent 12 weeks on the Billboard 200.
