Biography
With his languid, singsong flow, Southern rapper Lil Poppa delivers thoughtful, street-centric rhymes culled from his experiences in east Jacksonville, Florida. Following the releases of his underground mixtapes, he gained viral attention with breakthrough single "Purple Hearts," which was included on his 2018 effort Under Investigation. He later charted in the Billboard 200 with his 2021 studio debut LP, Blessed, I Guess, and his 2022 mixtape Under Investigation 3. He has continued his prolific work rate with releases such as 2023's Half Man, Half Vamp and 2024's WEE ARE WHO ...
